Define Robot: The Maquarie dictionary defines a robot as “A mechanical self-controling apparatus designed to carry out a specific task normaly completed by humans.” . They are designed to preform tasks may be difficult for humans to complete sometimes due to hash condions, repetitiveness ect.
Define Robotics: Dictionary.com defines robotics as ” The science or study of the technology associated with the design, fabrication, theory, and application of robots.”
